• Winter term classes

So to talk a bit about my courses that I am following this winter term.

So let’s focus a bit on the course Intro to entrepreneurship. My class is taught by a real entrepreneur. The class is like our marketing class at ESDES but we focus more on the environment of the entrepreneur, more of its person. We are taught of the different problem he may encounter, How to manage the team that tries to create the new product and how to judge if the idea is worth it or not. A business plan, financial plan and organization plan must be made. Everything is done for the idea to be ready for fall.

The business process management class is focusing on how information is relayed in a company. Diagrams and flows are made and our job is to find the bottlenecks that slows down company process. We learn how to work with ERP system to create information flow. This course helps to understand how companies may improve their production process and where improvement may be made.

My two other classes are economic classes. One is macro the other one is micro. All of the different economic models are seen. All of it is proved by supply and demand curves, showing the effect of taxes, price ceiling, and price floor. GDP and other economic informations are studied.

Very interesting classes with great teachers who give a lot of examples and who are really close to the students. Just a warning, all of the diagrams are reverse compare to the French way of doing, the axes are switch which may cause problem to understand the graphs at first.
